Keeping your Gardnerville Ranchos system healthy
A septic system that’s pumped on schedule and treated gently can do its job quietly for years. Spread laundry through the week, keep grease, wipes and paper towels out of the drains, keep vehicles and livestock off the tank and leach field, point downspouts away from the field, and keep a record of every pump-out and repair. Those records are especially helpful if you ever sell your Gardnerville Ranchos home, since buyers often ask for a septic inspection during escrow.
Signs your Gardnerville Ranchos septic system needs attention
Slow drains throughout the house, gurgling plumbing, sewage odors, wet or extra-green patches over the leach field, or a backup in the lowest drain are all reasons to call. So is not knowing when the tank was last pumped.
